Very simply, I am a mom of two girls, wife to an amazing chef, and a love driven photographer.
Meaning, I LOVE capturing those warm tender moments between engaged couples & newlyweds. Witnessing the love and strength that brings two people together in marriage, and be able to capture their love journey each step of the way is truly the most amazing job ever!
Capturing an endearing smile, as a mom looks down at her precious new baby... the love struck look a soon to be dad displays while watching his wife embrace her growing belly.
Those are the moments that really excite me as a photographer.
When I check the back of my camera and see that we captured a deeply intimate moment, it brings me the happiness that fills my cup as a photographer.

Like many photographers my creative side began in high school where I always had a disposable camera with me, or could be found goofing around with friends taking pictures on my mom's point and shoot camera. We did this four HOURS! (oh man, the amount of free time we had!) I loved this so much. I took film classes in high school where I built pinhole cameras, developed my own film and prints, and learned that photography can be as creative as you make it. Next came college, and to become a nurse which is what I always believed I would be professionally. As I began taking prerequisite classes in college, I soon realized that I no longer wanted to be a nurse (thank God), and thought photography was a skill I could develop into a career. So, I entered the photography program where I learned studio and on location portraiture, lighting, and multiple film formats. While working as a studio photographer assistant, and a photographer at JCP! Oh yes I did! (Cue the awkward family portraits) Like many young indecisive adults, I changed my mind AGAIN, quit school, moved away with a guy I met (don't worry, this guy is now my loving husband) and pursued a career in hospitality. You never know where God is guiding you. One baby later, I am back in school pursuing a different healthcare career. A radiographer! Doing x-rays is pretty darn close to being a photographer so it felt right. Just taking a photo of someone's insides instead! After a few crazy years in healthcare the dream of creating my own business that can give my family freedom in many forms, became a reality in 2023. This is why I focus on the connections with couples & family, because it is truly everything to me. Being able to capture the ever changing stages in people's lives is so important to me! Making the process simple and enjoyable for my clients and seeing them sharing & loving the photographs we create, reaffirms that love I have for photography even more.
